Join the Eplan Design Challenge 2025!
We are excited to announce the Eplan Design Challenge, where you can showcase your expertise in electrical design and engineering. This is your opportunity to demonstrate your skills and creativity using Eplan software.
Working Professionals / Corporate
Requirements:
- Choose one project from any industry vertical and accordingly your Eplan project should include:
- System Architecture / Machine Overview
- Single line diagram (SLD)
- Incomer and Energy monitoring circuit
- Distribution (Power and Control Voltage)
- Motor/Feeder/VFD Power and control Circuit
- PLC Card Overview
- PLC I/O Schematics with Field Connections
- IGA and OGA (ensure connectivity between scheme and cabinet layout in 2D / 3D)
- Connected Auto generated reports
General Guidelines:
- Use Electric P8 (any version) and Optionally, you may also use Eplan Pro-panel, Fluid or Harness ProD.
- Share completed project backup in *.zw1
- Projects can be created using IEC or NFPA standards.
- Utilize standard symbols and macros provided by Eplan.
- Parts can be downloaded from the Data Portal or you can create your own if needed.
- Preferred page structure is according to IEC; however, sequential numbering can also be used.
- Your project should contain a minimum of 10 schematic pages, complete with wire numbering, terminal/cable details, and component specifications.
- Generate a Bill of Materials (BOM) and Parts List.
- Consider including documents like the Title Page, Table of Contents, Project Overview, Terminal Diagram, Cable Overview, Wiring List, etc.
- GA and IGA can be created in 2D. Pro-panel users have the option to create these in 3D.
- Individual project submission.
